"Alright. Skye, you surrund from the left. Helen on right. I'll stay here."Skye raised her paw.
Helen obeyed, quietly creeping up."Alright. Skye, you surround from the left. Helen on right. I'll stay here."
"You should. Feel free to join me any time.""Maybe I should try that sometime," Priscilla said. She twisted her paws through the sand, forming small holes.
Priscilla stopped twisting her paws. "Is now a good time?" she asked."You should. Feel free to join me any time."
"Now is a perfect time. Wanna walk along the beach?"Priscilla stopped twisting her paws. "Is now a good time?" she asked.
"Sure," Priscilla stood up."Now is a perfect time. Wanna walk along the beach?"
Adolpha stood up and trotted onto the wet sand. She slowed so Priscilla could come along side her. She looked at the sand and saw hundreds of crushed shells and sand dollars. "I wish I could be a loner wolf sometimes. It seems like it'd be such a thrill.""Sure," Priscilla stood up.
Priscilla followed. When she saw the crushed shells, she started watching her step. "A Loner wolf?" she asked as she took a cautious step. "Why? Don't they starve?"Adolpha stood up and trotted onto the wet sand. She slowed so Priscilla could come along side her. She looked at the sand and saw hundreds of crushed shells and sand dollars. "I wish I could be a loner wolf sometimes. It seems like it'd be such a thrill."
"They don't starve unless they're sick. There's plenty of small game. I don't know why it seems so exciting. I just like being alone a lot. Sometimes I just want to do what I want, to run free without anyone bothering me."Priscilla followed. When she saw the crushed shells, she started watching her step. "A Loner wolf?" she asked as she took a cautious step. "Why? Don't they starve?"
"Oh," Priscilla said. "I thought they starved. The one time I saw one, it looked terrible." She paused as if to think about something. "You're an Alpha. That's the top of all wolves. Why would you want to be away from that? And what about your mate?""They don't starve unless they're sick. There's plenty of small game. I don't know why it seems so exciting. I just like being alone a lot. Sometimes I just want to do what I want, to run free without anyone bothering me."
