Lupin heard Vortex's howl and passed it along. Then he called to the wolves by him and started running towards Vortex. He panted to a halt beside his Alpha and asked. "What's wrong? I heard your howl."

Amerock heard the howl from a wolf. He perked his ears and heard that it was coming from about where he had heard the bang. He asked to Cody. "Is that the two-leggends hounds?" @Lacy Duckwing

"No," Cody responded, listening. "Dog howls sound like they're drowning. Those howl's I hear are wolves- one is an Alpha at that." Cody paused to listen for any more howls before continuing. "I'd say the two-leggeds have attacked a nearby pack. They'll probably kill them all and coming looking for us." Cody looked intently at Amerock. "For survival," he said in a serious tone, "running as far as you can in the opposite direction would be best." He nodded his head in the direction to go, though he made no move to go in it.

*vortex backed quietly away before howling to gather his pack. He would not be able to rescue his mate on his own, so he needed the pack to help.*

Mac heard Vortex's howl and howled back. He raced to the Alpha and reached him shortly after Lupin. "What's going on?" he asked.

Esper: is there some reason you were looking for me? *she had guessed that the other wolf followed her scent.*

"I was wondering who you are," Priscilla replied. "I didn't recognize your scent." She tilted her head. "Are you a Loner?"

Adolpha woke up from a long night of restless sleep and bad dreams. She wimpered as she felt her leg twinge with pain. She looked at the bird and growled.

Marco stood up and called his ship. "Do we have everyone en position? Gracias, uno hour? Si, mi perro can wait. Si, adios." He hung up and started making himself tacos and coffee.

"Priscilla," Priscilla said, "from Dune Pack."

Lupin looked at Vortex's worried face. He followed Vortex silently and saw a bird. The ugliest bird he had ever seen. Adolpha sat by the bird, in a cage. She looked like she was hurt. Why was she sleeping?

"Hola, Mi perro y mi are coming. Wait for us by the ocean." Pedro paced as his ship's capitan replied, "Si Marco. We are heading to la harbor. Meet tu there." Marco hung up and uncovered his off roader truck. He pulled the tailgate down and opened the built in cage. He lifted the drugged wolf into the iron box with small holes in the sides. Once he put her in, he locked the door and put the keys in his truck. Three hours till he could leave this wretched forest. He thought as he started packing up.
