"No," Cody responded, listening. "Dog howls sound like they're drowning. Those howl's I hear are wolves- one is an Alpha at that." Cody paused to listen for any more howls before continuing. "I'd say the two-leggeds have attacked a nearby pack. They'll probably kill them all and coming looking for us." Cody looked intently at Amerock. "For survival," he said in a serious tone, "running as far as you can in the opposite direction would be best." He nodded his head in the direction to go, though he made no move to go in it.

Amerock shrugged and started limping away. If this wolf wanted to die, then so be it. He started up the mountain and came to his cliff. He jumped the gap and looked for the pup. When he didn't here the pup and it didn't respond to his calls, he started getting worried. He looked for any place where the pup could have escaped and found a crack that it might have been able to go through. He opened his passageway and started heading down it, looking for the pup.

Cody watched Amerock go. The other Loner was just like his last pack. When trouble came, he ran instead of facing it. He frowned, disappointed. No wolf is willing to stand, he thought. He perked up when he saw Amerock come back out and wagged his tail. He hoped he was coming back.

Amerock walked back to Cody. No way am I telling him I kidnapped a pup. He walked up to Cody and wagged his tail a tiny bit. "I'd like to hang out with you for a while."

Cody's tail wagged faster. He smiled and nodded his head toward the danger. "Want to take a peek?" he asked. "We can stay low. All I want to do is see what's going on."

Cody filled with excitement. "Follow me and stay alert," he said. He took off running in the direction of danger. He slowed his pace, remembing that Amerock probably wasn't as fast as him, especially because he had a limp.

Marco hung up and uncovered his off roader truck. He pulled the tailgate down and opened the built in cage. He lifted the drugged wolf into the iron box with small holes in the sides. Once he put her in, he locked the door and put the keys in his truck. Three hours till he could leave this wretched forest. He thought as he started packing up.

(Just saying if their illegal poachers or trappers they wouldn't typically just go for one :P (as far as I know at least.)

*vortex let out a low growl as he saw the creature moving his mate. Something had to be done quick, but he did not know what at this moment.*

*esper wondered away with her fish. Looking for a good place to eat it.*

*eagle still followed the tunnel. Though he seen found the end of it and slowly peeked out. Ue'd had enough of this adventure and just wanted to go home now.*
