Welp.. after 28 1/2 weeks, 3 possibly 4 of my 15 girls have started laying!!!! I got 3 new eggs on election day and today have another one which looks a bit different from the ones yesterday, so Im not sure if its one of the same girls that laid yesterday or not.

I had threatened a hot grease bath, dumplings etc for the last 2 wks and the payback has finally started. Wonder how long it will take to recoup my money.. hehehe

Congratulations! I just stated getting eggs this week from my australorp. I watched her lay her 4th egg last night, she is 26 weeks old. I hope more of yours start laying soon and I hope you find more eggs today.

Now to figure out which girls are doing it so I can praise them instead of threaten.. lololol
