If you pay as a gift or as advancing money, then you are the one who is charged the fees, instead of the seller. You are also not covered by PP if something goes wrong and they don't ship your eggs, as the transaction was not a sale. As said above this is not a great idea for the buyer.

I believe that the seller should be charged the fee. I never ask anyone to pay the PP fees when selling eggs. Just my opinion.

Like they said if something was to happen you are not covered if you send it as a gift.
