So tell me more about your pumkin Easter Eggers- are they a pumkin color? Barred?

How many eggs of hers could you include in the EE choice?

6 Isabella (lavender) Marans project- These will be f1 chicks so will all be black carrying the lavender gene. Once I fill the spring offers I will be separating them. I have enough, I think,

to move forward with my own line of these. My first ones from my cross are 3 months old going on 4 months.
What would you cross them back to, to get lav marans? a black copper, blue copper or blue?

They look similar to LC Orp's but are more golden in color and are EE's. They are not that fat or stocky either, once they grow out. More of a Gamey body style. The chicks are HUGE. The beards need work as well. I am not sure how many I can include, there are two hens in that pen who are laying now, but only once in a blue moon. They are not good layers at all. They also do not go broody very often. They were a project of mine that I am hoping a guy is going to take over soon. I like them, they are interesting and not something you see everyday, but I will have my hands full with the Lavender Laced guys. B/c of the crossing to Crele Polish early last year I am still getting chicks that have a crest.
Most likely you will get the Black Rooster over Blue Wheaton and Wheaton hens in the EE Eggs.
