Not sure if everyone realizes it, but the Post Office has reclassified Priority mail from 1-2 day delivery to 2-3 day delivery. That means that packages mailed on Thursday are NOT necessarily going to be delivered the same week.

To ensure package delivery in the least amount of time, packages sent Priority should be mailed on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, or on Friday or Saturday of non-holiday weekends (the PO takes off monday on holiday weekends, so monday is not a delivery day). Mail at this time still travels through the weekend, but who knows for how much longer.

I never ship on Thursday. I will ship on Saturday early morning, Monday, Tues, Wed and that is it. It has been 2-3 days for a while and that is only approximate time frame- they will actually tell you 2-5 days is reasonable.

Now they're getting rid of Saturday delivery. That leaves Monday and Tuesday to ship. Its great, no more ordering chicks Priority, not that I ever will again after the last time.
