naw, you didnt kill it.....its a beautiful day here in my neck of the woods and dh and I are outside turning my shed into a brooder/hatch area so I can get them out of the house....tomorrow will be another miserable day so we are taking advantage of the weather today...that could be what most everyone else is doing too.

Nope, I've been outside all day playing chick/chicken bingo. You move this one here, then that one can go where the first one was, etc, etc. I had three different pens that just started to lay and I needed to get the odd man out so the pen would be pure in another couple of weeks (Iowa Blues, Silver Campines & Tolbunt Polish).

Now I can get the 8 chicks and 2 ducks (adorable, but stinky) out of the house, so there's room to move the new chicks out of the incubator and into the house brooder.
