Are geese or ducks any good for tick/bug patrol? (Yes, I'm still trying to justify waterfowl when there's no water within three miles...)

I HATE guineas they are the most abnoxious and loud animals!!!

I could look past a whole lot but not that noise! My mom bought them when I was a teen and they refused to roost with our chickens and instead roosted on the roof of our over 30' barn and would "seranade" us at 5 AM in the MORNING EVERY MORNING!!

Geese: eat grass....90% of their diet is from graising they are lawn mowers and fertilizers

ducks: eat bugs of all shapes and sizes and root through the mulch, grass and everythng else looking for them.

Neither require "real" water (ponds, lakes, rivers ect) and are happy with a kiddiepool for their bathing, swimming, playing
