Paypal question

I have purchased eggs recently and used paypal. Now I noticed after that it says I have paid with echeck (sorry) Question is how do you pay with regular paypal?

I think there is a setting that you can switch to direct debit from your account vs. an echeck.

I would think if you paid with paypal to someone who doesn't have an account, they would send an e-check?

You have the option on how payment is sent when you make payment. You can send an e-check, or send from funds already in your paypal account, or the funds will come from your bank account via debit card through paypal. You choose how you have it set up.

You have to set your account up with a debt card or credit for that matter. If you just put a checking account number as the source of the funds then it will send e-checks, if you use a debt card you then have the option of direct payment or e-check. Jenn

Sign into Paypal and then there is a link there to set your account options.

As others have said, change the 'primary funding' option to a credit or debit card number (visa, etc) rather than a checking accout.

Even if your visa is a debit card that deducts straight out of your checking account, it will then go through immediately rather than as an echeck, which can take several days to clear and delay your shipments.
