We have 4 or 5 country stations here. There's just so many good country songs that they can only play a certain number a day and lots of good ones fade into the past.
Most stations here want to only play what's new and hot and repeat them several times a day.
There's one that plays a good mix of newer stuff and older stuff. That's the one I listen to. They also do the countdown so you can get to hear what's newer and doing good on the charts and then they have a couple days they do only oldies for a few hours.

We have like 4 County Stations...they usually only play the new ones on repeat like 5 times a day. At this point I just listen to spotify in the car too because the radio is just a repeat of boring songs. 1 Station does throwback weekends which is good though
