PCR Testing-Recommendations and Advice

Hey Everyone!
I have heard of PCR testing, specifically through Zoologix. Has anyone done this or know of any other places that could? I am new to testing for my flock. I was wondering if anyone used this lab and how you went about it? Do I need to contact them or just submit a form? I haven't found a button to "purchase item". Can a vet do this or are they limited on what tests they can perform? I have a few ideas of what my flock has, but wanted to get an actual confirmation. Sadly though, I think I will have to have a closed flock. Tried to contact my vet, but she won't be in until later in the week. Thanks!

My understanding is they'll send you a collection kit and you send back your sample.

I've heard of this place. They can test for a couple of dozen things.

Not that I'm saying you should sacrifice a chicken, but necropsies might be cheaper, as some states will even do them for free.

Luckily I haven't had any pass yet....well I should say in regards to this anyways....1 Layer and 1 chick was raccoon. I also had 2 chicks pass (shortly after buying from store), another chick that escaped from enclosure and was attacked. This is the second respiratory disease, the first was only 1 hen, and also went through mites. I am beginning to think the original flock I bought in May was sick to begin with. Thank you for any links and advice!
