Pea chick with a broken neck maybe?

Steve, it IS always the expensive ones that are accident prone. I waited over a year to get a 15/16th ES Loud Pied hen from a breeder. I had her 4 months when she did something stupid and broke her neck - she was still warm when I found her! :-( Peas and Turkeys seem to be better at dying than they are at living! (Which is why I won't invest in pure Javas anytime soon)

We haven't had any trouble hatching or growing them out up to this point. We had some trouble with turkeys when we first got started in them but there is nothing to it now, the peas get raised the same way and seems to work very well. The pheasants we raise have a death wise like no bird I have ever seen. Hopefully the rest of them will do ok.
