Pea Comb question

Can I ask what you think to this?

“But for future reference 3 row pea comb in OP’s last post tells all. Brahma hens won’t develop a 3 row pea comb before laying, if they do at all.”
If you want to tag me in that thread, I would love to respond! :) I hate when misinformation starts to spread. At some point it becomes a "fact" due to repetition even though it never had any backing to begin with beyond perhaps anecdotal evidence.

It’s on Reddit, but I can send you the link! I use to be on here all the time but Reddit seemed a bit funner, unfortunately, it’s not, everything’s a hen, even if it’s a rooster, and everything’s a buff Orpington even it’s black, lol, it’s horrible over there

I can vouch for r/chickens and r/backyardchickens being quite the crazy subreddits. They're often completely wrong and it's usually a consensus too😳 Every one in a while I hop on and usually get frustrated by it and hop off LOL

Yeah, I'm in a couple chicken groups on reddit (among other things) as well and I don't even bother to respond to any of the posts there. Everyone always has their reasons why they're definitely right (even when they're clearly, blatantly, painfully wrong) and it's always seen as an attack if you try to correct anyone. 😅 The sexing and breed ID forum here is honestly one of if not the best available on the internet in my opinion because, for the most part, the people who respond actually know what they're talking about, and those who don't are usually quickly corrected (myself included) with proper reasoning so that all future readers can benefit from most every post.
