Does my cockeral have a pea comb apparently he is and araucana?

Thanks

How do you tell the difference between an ameracauna and araucana? He has not tufts or beard but was from a show breeder?

Hi there thanks for your replies I have read the link bass kids 08 and I am still not sure as he does not have ear tufts or muffs and beard but I don't think he is an Easter egger because the breeders are good friends of ours and they judge at chicken shows anround the country and show there chickens as well

Here is the link to there website

But he does not have tufts muffs or beard? But he is definitely a pure breed?

He appears to be a clean-faced tailed rooster of araucana breeding. Since the tufted gene is deadly in the homozygous state (two copies) all living tufted birds are heterozygous (one-copy) for the tufted gene. There are always non-tufted chicks hatched in every breeding. Also the recessive tailed gene exist in many araucana flocks the producing of tailed chicks is also common. These are not showable by APA standards but are still often produced by breeders of this breed. I have produced many similar myself in the past when I was actively breeding araucanas..
