This is BellaRooand his girls! He will be a year old on Jan 4. When I got him at 6-8 weeks,
I was told he is an Easter Egger. He is a momma’s boy, for sure. Question… Is his comb a Pea or Rose comb? It's quite big and I am getting conflicting information.
Thanks in advance.
PS… he lost his tail feathers back around Sept. It was really hot.

It's a pea comb in a bird with one single comb gene, people typically call it a pea comb but I think it looks more like an intermediate between pea comb and single comb. EEs aren't a fixed breed so both single and pea combed alleles are common in the EE population. Therefore, pea combs, pingle combs, and single combs are common in EEs.
