This is Peaches. Our amberlink. She is three weeks old. But "her" comb is looking significantly bigger than all the other chicks. Peaches is our only amberlink so I dont have anyone else to compare to. Thoughts? Also Peaches is not a cooperative model, so this was the best I could do.

Lol mine are never cooperative for pictures. Still looks like a pullet. If it were pink I would definitely think cockerel but for now its not overly suspicious and could go either way. Was she purchased sexed?

She was purchased as a pullet yes. Like I said she just has a lot more going on than the other chicks which are a silver laced wyandotte, buff orpington and an easter egger, not counting my two week old D'uccles.

Wish I could offer more help. I have three Amberlink pullets shipping today so I'll keep up with this thread to see what she turns out to be, in case I have any that seem "suspicious" in a few weeks.

Pullet.

Amberlinks are a production bred bird, so they're going to get a bit larger combs, sooner. As long as she stays fleshy toned, you're good.

she may well lay as early as 18 weeks.

Thank you guys! And good. She is for the most part pretty relaxed and I like her pretty white feathers. She just wasnt a fan of my phone being near her lol.
