peachick 2 months old w/4 pics

Hello,
I have 4 chicks that are 2 months old. I was sitting with them today when I saw green! What does this mean? Only one, all 4 pictures are of the same bird, has the green on its shoulder/neck so far. Are boys the only ones with color correct? The chicks was sold to me as Black Shoulder. What do you think?

The chick in the photos looks like a black shoulder male.

I have a spaulding pied chick that is a little over a month old & I have noticed green coming out on the back of the lower neck area. It is not always visible but only shows in certain lighting. I figure it is the spaulding in it & I am not sure of its sex yet.
Have a purple black shoulder pied, a couple of months old, doesnt have the brown or darker (for purple) male feathers coming in yet so I think it is a she....
I agree, yours looks male, with the dark feathers already coming in.
