Peachick language

I’ve been learning the various sounds that peafowl make, but today I heard one that’s new to me. Peachicks tend to cry and make a lot of noise but this one was different. While cocking it’s head to look up at me it screamed, “Aaaah!! Aaaah!!” The “A” was hard and loud like a Cathy from the comic strip. It only ever did it while looking up at me and so far, only this morning. I think I’ve decided that the little laser gun trill is irritation/a warning, but this one has me stumped.

My hearing is shot, they make sounds in a range I can't pick up. Some will sit on the edge of the brooder and beg or fly out onto my shoulder and make cute tweeting sounds but they just sound like happy sounds to me.
