peachick newbee with question

did research on raising and maintaining peafowl. have pens, shelter (2-old barns), mixed acreage of grain, ponds, trees, pasture with hair sheep, whole 9 yards of stuff. Bought 16 peachicks day old for heat and they all are 4 weeks now. only 1 casuality due to bruising and swelling in transit. question is - 2 chicks look like ib, but one has dark colored legs and the other has yellow legs. perfect chick, don't know about peachicks colors or genetics, so this might be simple. Help anyone? My speciality is freshwater turtles, but I love my peachicks.

Do you have a picture of the entire chick too?

Looks normal to me. Some peafowl have darker legs than others. India Blue peafowl tend to have tanish colored legs and sometimes I wonder if the peafowl showing dark grey legs might have some green blood in them. As peachicks their leg color can change as they get older. Often you will notice changes in the peachick's legs since usually when they are really little their legs and feet are pink and then the color changes as they grow.

With peafowl you normally don't look at the leg color to tell what variety a bird is. The main focus is usually the face, neck, & wings.

Looks an Indian Blue male. Usually color changes. If a peafowl has enough Green blood the legs will remain a black color throughout their life.
This is a two year old Spalding hen. She has had black legs since she was about a month old.
