Mother nature at her best.

I've been anxiously waiting to find this.

Now to find Charmain and her peeps and here she is, she only made it about 10 feet from the nest.

And a close-up.

I don't know how many peeps she has underneath her, there were 5 eggs originally. I don't want to annoy her too much so I'll wait, in a day or two she'll be taking them around for all to see.

Great pics. I also love it when peahens go broody and raise their own babies. Currently have two java hens sitting on their nests. Last week, a blue hen showed up and hung around.. did not see her for 2 days so figured she went back home.. turns out she's just setting on her nest on top of a pen, where a tree branch grew over onto.
