Peachicks!

Hi there!
I'm new here. I joined to possibly answer other people's questions and to ask my own questions! Tomorrow I am going to finally pick up 2 little baby peachicks! Does anyone have any hacks/tips/tricks to raising peachicks? I also have a few questions:
1. Can peachicks eat pinenuts?
2. Can they eat almonds?
3. Brooder bedding? Can I use Softwood Shavings?

Peachicks should have a medicated chick starter for the first six months. They do not have any grit in them to process hard foods. Large flake pine shavings is fine. Read the 'Stickies Topics' in the top of the index page for a wealth of information on the care, housing, and feeding of peafowl.
