Peacock chicks with chicken chicks

Hi! I’m excited to be here & hope this is ok to ask ... I currently have 12 in my flock (hehe - love saying that) 10 hens & 2 surprise roosters, all are roughly 10 weeks old. I would LOVE to get a couple peacocks (hoping for a cock & hen, but i’ve Only seen straight run) - I would not house them with the chickens, but when they were old enough, i’d Let them free range with the chickens. Will this work? Help!

Peacocks are much larger than chickens, I think it would be better to raise them apart.

However you can post your questions on the "Peafowl forum," and get specific advice about whether or not it is a viable choice. You may also find someone selling sexed
young'uns.

Welcome to BYC glad to have you join. My aunt had chickens and peacocks free range together and never had any problems that I can remember.
