peacock death!!

Even if it were a new topic i believe we could help , i mean the poster was asking folks on BYC no need to run off and ask someone that rarely post on BYC and instead of sharing advice ,they just ask them to e-mail them, kinda crazy IMO

I just noticed this thread topic and decided to open it. I had a peahen do the same thing. I think she may have flown out of a tree and hit the side of the chicken coop but ??? Never will know. So with that being said reading this old post actually did shed some light and I didn't have to ask something that I was always curious about. I started out on the Peafowl site looking for Deerman's list of breeding different color Peas.
Just need to go back and do another search.

I strongly suggest having necropsies done on deceased peafowl. Many states will do it for free or a small fee. I suspect the OP lost their peafowl to worms, bacterial infection, coccidiosis or blackhead.

My peacfowll usually sit on top of the my house's building. Today i saw my peacockl dead out side my house's boundry walls!! My brother said he might have fallen from the building!! But if he had fallen, how did he manage to go out side the home? There were no dogs or any other peafowl-predators...
Boundry wall is 10 feet tall and is just 5 feet away from the building!!
Wen i asked a few of my neighbourers they too replied the way my brother did! And yeah...he waznt wounded at all!!

Can someone help me find the reason y waz he dead... Though i hav decided not to hav peacocks now!! because i hav lost all my peacocks since last 4.5 years....i mean every year or two i buy new yearling couple because they die!! I hav only one peahen remaining!
In last 2 weeks i hav lost a peachick(sick) and this peacock who waz certainly not sick...
