Has anyone ever incubated these? If so what are your expierances? Is there anything different you have to do with them?
There was probably 2 dozen peacock eggs for sale at a swap today for $3 per egg. I was so tempted to buy some because peacocks are so gorgeous and the adult birds are way expensive. But I passed them up because I don't know anything about them.

I have never artifically incubated peacocks, although we had hens sit on eggs. Incubation period is 30 days and any incubator that will hold turkey eggs would work. However I don't know if I would buy eggs at a swap meet unles I knew the people selling them. Don't count on the hatching rate being very high if you buy eggs like this. You are probably better off buying chicks.
