Peacock fought with rooster now he can't walk

Please help me, I can't determine what happened to him.

This was their very first confrontation that I know of. The less than year old peacock was showing his feathers so I tried to get some pics. But after I left I heard some rustling, assuming he could fend for himself, when I went back he was gasping for air and could not walk.

Today he still stumbles when trying to walk and I don't know if he's eating

Check his feet/toes...experienced roos are much better fighters than peas, my peacock got his neck and feet all torn up fighting with a half-crippled roo.
