anyone else's Peas shedding their tail feathers??

Mine dropped his in April. Is it true he is no longer fertile? My hen has started laying again, but I don't want to try to hatch infertile eggs. I have seen them mate once since dropping, but think that doesn't mean anything.

Only my pure white males are loosing their trains. The rest are still going strong

Yet the hens in with them have not stopped laying yet so I am letting the hens move to another breeder pen so fertility continues.

My peacocks have been fertile for quite a while after the train has been dropped. Our breeding season is a couple of months off yet, it all starts around Mid September here and goes through till about January. My pied boys display all the time, but the white never displays this early, he only starts when he means business :p

Yoda, your experiencing the "Thang" quit early syndrome at your place? He's the only male here that has abandoned ship but my BSSP male Roadtrip loves being moved every 2 days between 7 hens now.
Actually the whites got their trains last September and had them all winter. My breeder lost their tains last season and the whites had just grown theirs in and kept them until this month.
