Peacocks in my backyard?!?

    For the most part, yes, but the hens can be quite noisy if something upsets them.

    I would love to have some peafowl and some gueneas but I don't know of anywhere that has any of either this year.

    Is that like seeing the white buffalo? I have one female peahen who thinks she's a chicken. She's loud when she honks-foghornish.

    There both gorgeous, Luckily we found the owner and managed to return them, i had thought that they were maybe a breeding pare. Thanks for suggesting These people to me. Help a lots!

    I checked into local peafowl societies and clubs and found a breeder... right now is chick season and yearlings by end of summer... we got Perkasa aka Perky from our local feed store...

    Thanks... :frow I've just exchanged peacocks for geese and the more I learn about them the more interesting I am finding them... hopefully I can train them to range around the house and not fly off into the sunset like a brood of wild ducklings I raised did...
