i have a male and female peacock they just laid eggs I am new to the peacocks does the female lay on the eggs or does the male,i haven't seen the female on them but the male is very protected of them,does anyone know about them
stay at home mom w/3 girls 2 dogs,34 chickens 4 cats,baby colt coming in september

The female hatches them. Mine lays only 4 or 5 eggs then begins setting.

The female will lay an egg every other day then start sitting on them in a couple weeks.

thank you i have 2 so far i keep checking everyday,i was just afraid she would not sit on them,

so they still have a chance
