Peafowl Eggs On The Way....

Yes, I am going to attempt it, so wish me luck. I know they are difficult to hatch or at least live by the rules of Lady Luck.

My daughter and I will give it our best.
There are three of them, they are from (if I understood this correctly), a purple sex link and purple pieds.
I need LOTS of good hatching vibes for this one!!!!

When you put them in the incubator, you must kiss them for luck! That will help!

LOL!! I think kissing them for good luck will help as much as anything will.

To date, I have successfully hatched chickens, quail, geese and ducks. Not turkeys, guineas or pheasants yet either, though I do have turkey eggs and a couple of pheasant eggs in the incubator.
I am just glad you all are here to tell about the peafowl eggs. My girls like the birds but think I talk to much about them and my fiance listens but it really isnt his interest.Sigh.

I love them.

I know what you mean about having no one to talk to about the birds. I don't either.

I do talk to my husband about them, but it isn't really his interest.

Oh good luck! I have 4 eggs incubating. I ordered 4 purple and received 5 --2 have chicks in them and I ordered 4 sex link and 2 of those have chicks in them. Now if they just hatch...

I think it isnt a lot of husbands interest,lol. At least mine will listen and never says its a bad hobby or gets angry if I get more eggs, so I am okay with that. But its nice to talk to others that understand what I am saying!

Hey, Mags, I just got 7 peafowl eggs yesterday in the mail to try. I'll set them in the incubator tomorrow. It is my first attempt too.
