I do not have any eggs yet, by checking my records for the last four years, it is around the 10th of May that I get my first egg and it has been from my Blackshoulder pen. And I have to check fertility before I sell any.
I am looking out the window with about an inch of fresh snow and couple more expected before it quits and some more Friday night, where I live it seems like it takes forever for spring to arrive and I think that is why they seem to be late laying compared to other people's birds.
