Just did a proper darkroom candling of the five eggs that I set 5-25 and all five have very faint little veins!

I have six peahen eggs being set on by a Buff Orrington hen right now. I only wished I had another hen broody so I could put at least six of the other ten peahen eggs that I have available under something

. Oh well, at least have six being set on

.

Three eggs where put under my Buff 5/21.
Another one was put under her 5/23.
And finally two more where put under her 5/25.

I have not candled any of them yet, do you guys think I should?

Your welcome. I had always wanted bronze peafowl, so I visited the largest peafowl breeder in NY and got some hatching eggs. I am very excited!

I've collected 11 Bronze eggs since sunday nite from the 3 hens in my Bronze pen. Last year these 3 hens had one of the highest egg laying rates of the season for me.
