Which ever one you feel is the most reliable.
Good luck and keep us updated on their progress.
Well I've only ever hatched out 4 chicks from the incubator and none of them lived.

The broody chicken hasn't hatched out anything because we have no rooster so she's sitting on useless eggs. The broody ducks haven't hatched out anything yet but the ducklings are due to hatch any day now for one of them. The other one just started setting.

Basically I feel the incubator is more reliable because I'm inexperienced with broodies and thus not sure if they'll sit on the eggs until they hatch or give up. At the same time I've had not so awesome incubator luck. It would be awesome if I could get the poultry to do it but I just don't know. Someone tell me what to do please!!!

I'm getting 4 eggs this weekend. I have 3 broodies, 1 chicken and 2 ducks. I also have a hovabator. Which do you think I should use???
Yep.... I would start under the chicken for a week.. I hear that ups hatch rate alot... but I would check on her several times a day to make sure she does not push the big eggs away... some dont like to sit on big eggs.... and unless she is a proven broody I would take them away after a week... some chicken will not sit for the full month... now if she is a proven 'sitter' and she is in a safe place..proven hens are always best...maybe let her keep one or two and put two the others in the bator
