Mindy sent me some eggs that I was able to hatch out one beautiful Pied cock. I felt just awful when the owl got him. As for feed I would buy a game bird feed and cut it to achieve about a 20% protein level. Or just buy a chicken feed in the 16 to 22% range.thanks so much ! I dont know I would do without this site and all the help from you and KsKingBee .. One of my babies ( female Spaulding) was from Mindy ( Dylans Mom ) . She gifted her to me since we had 2 chicks uniquely both born late in the fall and my boy needed a friend. She was my mentor and my Rock when it came to raising these 2 little guys . I miss her terribly !!! If anything happened to my girl Jackie ( my boy is Arias in Onassis ) I would feel like I did a disservice to her personally so it really means alot to me.. Any recommendations on feed for these 2 three year olds. I'm still feeding them a crumble ( not a starter ) , just not sure on % or protein, etc .. Thanks so very much !!
