You do know the grass is always greener on the other side

Hope they don't hang a hoof in that fencing, seen a hoof riped nearly clean off when a horse tried to escape a hog wire fence like that, wern't pretty at all

X2! I've seen some really bad wire injuries, no way I would use barbed or hog wire. If I had to, I would use 3-4 strands of smooth wire *and* 3-4 strands of electric.

That's a big reason we're changing it out for stronger fencing: It must be at least 10 years old, and one of the horses pulled a stronger part down, stepped in it, cut the back of his hoof and nearly didn't make it even after 15 rounds of antibiotics for the infection. Anyway, here come the pics!

These are probably pretty bad pictures.

You should have heard the rooster when he saw that one.

Hungry predator. Not encouraging.
See the hole? Good thing there's another board down there.

Very pretty, it will give you a nice start. I used 1 strand of weak wire with a good fencer. Easy to put up, easy to fix, and once I figured out how to stop my stallion from pulling the insulators off, worked great.
