Peafowl prices

Do you have any pics of these “JAVA greens”? I’ve read that there are no true Javanese Peafowl in this country. The ones you are looking at may be high% spaldings or American greens. Pricing varies greatly depending on the quantity and % of the birds. The more you can educate yourself and the more you can develop an eye for what you are looking at, the better prepared you will be going into a sale like this. Best of luck!!

There are a few breeders of 'pure' imported Greens in the USA. Rocking BAB, Bob's Green Peafowl, and Tesaspeafowl.com are three that come to mind and there are others too. Florida Conservatory (or something like that) is another with top quality greens. It is still a buyer beware when purchasing Greens like you said, but these four sources I know have top quality birds and can be trusted.

The lowest I have seen is around 600$. The highest I saw was 2,700$.
