Someone locally has an ad that reads 'one yearling white spalding peachick(sex unknown)'. What would be a reasonable price to pay?

Depend on the percentage of green if it a low percentage that look like a regular white around 50.00 or less I have seen some nice high percentage white sell for over 200.00

I am thinking that this person doesn't really know that much about peafowl... she also listed 'one yearling cameo pied peahen (fairly certain it is a hen)'. She is the same person that I bought my two from a little over a year ago, and I paid about $60 each for a pied and the one that may or may not be a BS. She is asking $120 for this one, I just thought that was a bit much. So I guess I will pass on that. Just wanted to make sure that I wasn't just being cheap...

Like DMFarm said, if it's hi% it's not a bad price, I'd want to know how hi though before I bought one. If they cant tell you that, then you're right, probably dont know much about their birds and I'd have to pass...
