Actually, it's not. It only treats a few bacteria, whereas Baytril will treat many. If you want to treat mycoplasma gallisepticum (mg), mycoplasma synoviae (MS), or necrotic enteritis (NE) from clostridium perfringens, then tylosin (Tylan) could be used.if Baytril is GOOD .... Tylan is GOOD X 2 !
