peahen acting odd

Would it work to check the crop at night and again in the morning to see if it is emptying, like you do with a chicken?
And would coconut oil help a peahen like it can for a chicken?
I would use water on a chicken too.

If I can catch her today I might just get her off to a vet. I am worried as last night after dark I couldn't find her though I know she is inside somewhere..she was there when I fed and closed them up for the night
I hope you can do that. :fl

The egg stance is like this.

Well, I don't know what she is, crop or egg bound or something else, but I have not been able to catch her. I'm hoping to catch her tonight at roost if I can find her. She has been walking around today; eating a bit of feed; she had some watermelon too later. Doesn't eat much though. .

Usually, if you can't catch them they are not very sick.
