as some of you know, i had an early start with some of my peahens laying early this season (started in january)-- currently, not seeing any eggs, but i have 2 hens that have gone broody side by side -- their first time laying and it's been cold -- the few eggs that i let them sit on were either infertile or went bad -- i pulled the eggs, but they still sat as if the eggs were still there ... a friend brought over a dozen sebastopol goose eggs -- i put 4 under the hens and 8 in an incubator ---- 2 under the hens are fertile and 4 in the incubator are -- i'm gonna leave the 6 good eggs under the hens --- just wondering if anybody here has ever let their peahens hatch OTHER eggs and how it went.... thanks, john
