How would I make a 'treat cage" or holder for my girls.?

As a special treat about once every week or two I spread some smooth peanut butter between the butt end pieces of bread and place them together just like a sandwich, and place it in the suet cage in there run

I love that idea!! Thank you!! I was trying to think of stuff to have my kids more involved! I was also thinking to string air-popped popcorn on really strong fishing line!

I threw some leftover popcorn balls out for ducky soccer

Someone else on this forum mentioned wire flower baskets for a suet/treat holder. I'm going to try it myself as I have some around here. Another member mentioned using those ball cap forms (whatever they're called) you put them in to dry. Anyway, she took it apart and put it back together in a ball shape. Did I make since?

I'm making suet now. My DH says I bake for the chickens more than I do for him and the kids. Not true

I got the suet cage at the store orginally for the birds. But the birds seemed to like the regular bird feeders I had.

One day I was looking on Hen Cam and she had a suet cage haging. And I thought what a great idea! So I actually took the idea from someone else. (sorry terry)
