"Peanut" chicks?

There was no list of what I had when the package arrived. I did order "brown egg layer assorted hens"....so that's probably why.

Packing peanuts are usually extra boys, but not the healthiest ones, I got many that died from genetic problems, and a few that didn't crow until they were 24 weeks old and looked like girls.
 
So far all peanuts are healthy and have a good size. They are actually very sociable even more than my other chicks. One peanut just follows me everywhere and wants to be in my hand every chance he/she can get. Now that I look more closely at them (they are a week old today) there are 3 that look like they have combs forming...does this mean roo's or am I just paranoid now???
