I took a "spokesduck" to the farmers market last weekend, and offered peas for people to feed her. The towel I spread on the cage floor had turds that ranged from the grain she had for breakfast, to what looked like someone spilled their split pea soup on it.

Every so many poos my duck, ducklings, and gosling poo the worst smelling dark green slime. It's so awful. If I hear a squirting noise, I know there's trouble. For some reason, the horrible poo doesn't just squirt downward...it's projectile. I don't mind the split pea poo after dealing with the dark green slimy poo.

I know I'm asking for it--I give them (currently there's 8 living inside my home office) about a pound of peas and bag of baby lettuce each day.

I would guess that's the "cecal" poo, when they clear out the cecum pouchy thing.
