Pebbles and Red

Well, I've been going on and on about my small chicken and rooster that I can't catch. I cornered Pebbles(my small chicken) and caught her! I brought her straight in the house, clipped her wings and put her on my son's bed to love on her. We did that for about an hour and I brought her back out. The good news is that now that I locked her in the coop for a little bit, she's finally going in there to sleep at night. The bad news is that she's still running from me so the love I gave her meant nothing. Lol! As for Red, I still can't catch him.

P.s. I locked the duck in the coop for 1 night and now he's going in there at night to sleep. He's never slept in a coop before. I usually can't catch him and he mostly just wanders around the yard at night. But not anymore! He finally gets to stay warm with the chickens!

P.s.s I'm a proud momma! I finally have all but 1 rooster going into their new coop. I finally have my duck going in there and he can stay warm AND my pig likes his new home!!

Now to continue trying to catch Red!!

Wow..... That is a beautiful bird..
I know that catching chickens can pose a challenge. Once they see that the coop is the place to be, its all success. May I suggest using a fishing net, (if you can get your hands on one) to catch remaining roo. I have 2 fishing nets and use for everything except fishing..
