My 3 week old chick had her eyelid pecked at by the others. its not normal for them to peck but it happens occasionally. her other eye is fine and she can open the injured eye sometimes (not much). can anyone recommend any eye cleanser that ships to the uk? or what to do?

It‘s really early in the USA so your answer will follow only not so quick

In the mean time I would separate her from the flock And clean her eye with clean water so you can see if the eye is still there...

UPDATE: i think her eye is swelling
You can use Saline to flush the eye - this can be found at most pharmacies. If not available, then make your own. 1/2 teaspoon of salt to 1 cup of water, bring to a boil for 15 minutes to sterilize. Let cool. Excess saline can be stored in a Sterilized Jar for up to 24 hours, but I would make fresh.

You can also put a little eye ointment in the eye after cleaning it. Vetericyn eye gel can be used (check with your pet shop), plain neosporin or Terrramycin eye ointment can be used as well.
