Pecking bantam

I have a pecking bantam female and she is about 8-9 months old and no eggs is this normal

Is her comb red? You can also feel the space on top of her vent to see if it is stretched out more than a rooster's if she laid an egg before, it should be. Maybe she is hiding the eggs.
