Pecking eggs

One of my girls is breaking the eggs before I can collect them. Any advice?

Have you tried a golf ball or ceramic/marble egg and try to collect egg as soon as laid?

I had plastic Easter eggs in the nesting boxes but they always ended up on the coop floor so I took them out. They just started laying, I watched one trying to move an egg out of the box with her peek. Seems like she is trying to rearrange the nests. Some lay in the boxes and some lay on the coop floor which is pine shavings, hay and leaves. There are two spots on the floor they made into nests. I check early morning and due to my work schedule I can't check again until 5:30.

You need to find a feed store or farm store that sells ceramic eggs to leave in the nest. They look very real. My inlaws keep harvesting the fake egg when we are on vacation. They are solid.
