I'm kinda happy 'bout that Dilly. I have a good home for him if he is a roo.

Is it true that roos tend to get their back feathers later than the hens? That might be another sign cause he was naked until all those pinfeathers showed up.​
 
Yes my buff Orp roo was the same way slow to feather, no tail feathers till much later than the ladies. Very heavy legs, white legs. Big boned.
They stand more upright, shorter coupled than the hens. And if you watch you will see the redish tinge as well as under his chin it will show up more pronounced. My boy is 4 weeks and has been showing all boy tendencies for a couple now.

He is the sweetest boy though. I am keeping him.

In fact still my guy is wicked looking with his pin feathers where the ladies look so pretty.
