I got a new rooster and chickens yesterday. They sleep with the 3 older chickens and older rooster but this morning they got out accidentally together and. The rooster fought until the older one ran away and the rooster and one chicken ganged up on the younger chickens.
All are settled seperate for now and they slept fine. Will this sort itself out?
The older chickens and rooster are Australorps and Australorp x. The new ones are frizzle rooster, Auracona and Auraconna x Barnelvador chickens

Unless there is a great amount of free range space, it is very unlikely that the two roosters will peacefully coexist.

I have had 3 sets of 2 roosters coexist peacefully with only 8-10 hens. They were brothers snd were with each other their whole lives.
1 set was orpingtons the other 2 were Brahmas.
Once i had 4 roosters (hatchmates) living in the same coop with 12 hens. They never bothered each other but they were way to rough on the hens and the 2 most aggressive birds were removed.
When I have had a single rooster being introduced to another single, they fight. They MAY resolve their differences and the dominant bird MAY learn to tolerate the subordinate, but its unlikely.

Roosters are a crap shoot, and wishing they will all get along, will not work. Having multiple rooster decreases the odds of it working, especially in smaller set ups of less than a dozen birds. They need more space than hens.

Multiple roosters may work, may work for some time, may fight it out, settle it, and work or work for some time, some never work. You need a plan B set up and ready to go if you are going to try it.
