My hens have been getting really feisty, squaring off with each other with a lot of ruffled feathers, wing flapping and the occasional kangaroo like thrust of the feet, though no bloodshed. Is this a means by which they establish the pecking order? Are they just making sure everyone knows their place or have they all lost their little minds??
